Family

The family is the foundation of God’s intent for mankind. The family is most important to God’s plan. It is important to The L.I.V.E. Church believes in ministry that builds families. We also want to assist in the restoration of broken families. We will provide ministry to every component that makes up the family including men, women and youth. You will see families together, functioning together in The L.I.V.E. Church.

Life

We will seek the holistic improvement of each member of our church family. We want everyone in our ministry to be spiritually, emotionally, physically and financially whole. We will aggressively and passionately preach and teach Biblical principles to achieve optimum success in all of these areas. We will develop the necessary ministries and classes as well as engage qualified individuals to help those who want to achieve holistic improvement. We want every member of The L.I.V.E. Church to be spiritually mature, physically healthy, culturally inspired, socially aware and economically sound.

Service

The L.I.V.E. Church will work hard to specialize in outreach programs for hurting people. We want to provide service for those who have suffered from homelessness, poverty, substance abuse, incarceration, lack of proper education, injustice, and those who have suffered from physical, verbal and sexual abuse.

Evangelism

Our primary goal is to always to be a light in this Dark Age and to be a path to salvation to this lost and dying world. The L.I.V.E. church wants to attract the unsaved, the unchurched and people who want a fresh start from the mistakes they have made in their past. We want to reach those who have given up on church and have lost faith in God. We want to expand our ministry and sphere to people from other races, cultures and socio-economic classes. We will impact the City of Mount Vernon and the surrounding areas with our media and social media ministry, outreach campaigns, crusades, business development, city-wide events, prayer walks, intercession, partnerships with schools, organizations, city and state officials, etc.

Excellence

The L.I.V.E. Church strives to be a model for excellent ministry in our city and in our country. We will always strive to be excellent in our customer service – how we treat our members, visitors and guest from they time they enter our building until they exit. We, The L.I.V.E. Church will be careful and considerate in how we respond to people and their needs. We will present Jesus Christ, spread the Gospel, and serve our community in the spirit of humility and love. We will be the standard for excellence in how we do people.

Worship

Worship is life at The L.I.V.E. Church. Prayer, preaching, the study of God’s word, singing, dancing, praising God, etc. are the things that make for a powerful worship experience. It is the very foundation on which The L.I.V.E. Church is built. Prayer is the ground. Preaching and teaching God’s word is the seed that is planted and an encounter with the Holy Spirit is what waters the seed in every worshiper that attends The L.I.V.E. Church.

 

Transformation

Change and transformation is the mandate and measure of our walk with Christ. Jesus calls us to forsake the sinful nature of man and receive Him in our hearts so that we can be the reflection of His image in this present age and the age to come. At The L.I.V.E. Church we are committed to taking the walk with every member on his or her journey to be more like Christ. Above all things, we want to see the lives of person who comes into fellowship with The L.I.V.E. Church changed for the better through Jesus Christ our Lord.
