Damon Mack

Damon Mack is a native of Mount Vernon, New York.  He is progressive and sensitive to the will of God for his life and ministry. He recognizes the importance of preparation for relevant end time ministry. Pastor Mack is a distinguished and anointed servant, preacher, teacher of the Gospel of Jesus Christ, and Kingdom leader. He is a builder and he's deeply committed to the Kingdom of God.  His faithfulness to the Kingdom is noteworthy and honors the Lord Jesus Christ.   Pastor Damon L. Mack is admired and respected for his vast contributions to the body of Christ.   

Pastor Mack is world traveled.  He is an accomplished musician, artist and songwriter. He has worked and performed with such artists as Bishop Hezekiah Walker, Bishop Eric McDaniel, Dr. Dorinda Clark-Cole, Richard Smallwood and Trey Songz to name a few. Pastor Mack was privileged to work with Anna Deavere Smith on her most recent documentary “Notes From the Field” currently on HBO. Reverend Mack obtained his Bachelor of Music from Nyack Christian College with a concentration in Music Education. Pastor Mack is a third generation preacher that shares in the preaching legacy of his paternal grandfather Reverend Ray S Blake Sr. of the White Plains Deliverance Center, located in Mount Vernon, NY.  

Pastor Mack is an ordained Elder in The First Ecclesiastical Jurisdiction of Eastern NY COGIC under the leadership of Bishop James H. Gaylord. Pastor Mack committed himself to working alongside his father and pastor, Reverend Carlton C. Spruill Sr. in the Ecclesiastical leadership and music ministry of the Allen Memorial Church of God in Christ, where he served for more than twenty-nine years.

Pastor Mack is the Founder and Pastor of The L.I.V.E. Church. Pastor Mack currently serves on the music staff of the renowned Abyssinian Baptist Church in Harlem, under the leadership of Rev. Dr. Calvin O. Butts III. He’s also served on the staff of Dr. Dorinda Clark-Cole’s Singers and Musicians Conference as the East Coast regional coordinator. He is a member of The Fresh Winds Ministerial Alliance under leadership of Bishop Michel White-Haynes. Elder Mack is most grateful for his wife Tanya and his children.
 

Lady
Tanya Mack

Tanya Mack has been an educator in the Mount Vernon City School District for over 14 years. She has taught in Grimes Elementary School and is currently a 6th grade math and science teacher in Mount Vernon’s Performing and Visual Arts Magnet School. Tanya is a proud native of Mount Vernon. Her desire to be an asset to the community that she gained so much from, led her to become a catalyst in which she could inspire the young students of Mount Vernon to pursue their dreams through education. Tanya’s passion to shape young minds drives her to connect with her students by creating an environment that sparks trust, curiosity and engagement.

 

Tanya also has a great fondness for the Arts, which was cultivated at a young age. She played the clarinet throughout her entire school career as well as developed her vocal talent through various ensembles and choirs. She has performed background vocals for several artists such as, Karen Clark-Sheard, Nick Jonas, Demi Lovato, Marvin Sapp, Cyrus Chestnut and Lisa Fischer. She is currently a background vocalist in the historic Abyssinian Baptist Church in Harlem. Tanya holds a Bachelors of Arts in Linguistics from Stony Brook University; a Master of Science in Education from Mercy College; and a professional diploma in School Building Leadership from Manhattan College.

Tanya is happily married to the Reverend Damon Mack. Together, they founded The L.I.V.E Church, an exciting, new ministry that is committed to building lives spiritually, emotionally, and mentally through faith, teaching and preaching discipleship in Jesus Christ with the intent to empower individuals to live the life God has designed for them to live.
